On Hold

Hello there. Long time no talk. Please accept my deepest apologies. We are done with our port-stopping and are en-route to San Diego with a lay over in Hawaii. I'm doing my best to try and finish my China and then Japan blogs, but school work is taking up the bulk of the typing time. I expect to finish China today (4/19) with hopes of getting Japan done before my birthday.

Just a quick bit. The day after we left Japan, our first day back at sea was the roughest day we'd seen yet. It was extreamly exciting! The ship was all over the place. It was Easter, so it made it all the more fun. 25-30 swells smashed up and covered my third deck window with water. 35-40 knot winds prevented any of the decks from being opened. All classes were canceled for the morning and were not put back into session until 1PM. Thankfully, all my classses were before noon on that day, so it was a nice rest-up day.

Japan was absolutley amazing. I can't even begin to describe it, you'll just have to wait for the blog. China was insane, that blog is in the works...I promise. Hope you all had a great Easter, mine wasn't quite the same without Memere's Rasin Sauce, but I think I can hold out till next year.
